The Bonares Centre is a scientific partner of the Citizen Science project "Expedition Erdreich - Mit Teebeuteln den Boden erforschen". The project is part of the Science Year 2020/21 Bioeconomy and is funded by the BMBF. The aim of the campaign is to introduce as many people as possible to the soil and to create soil awareness. The participants explore the soil together with scientists and are involved in the evaluation process.
