Long-Term Field Experiment (LTE) Dikopshof - Bonn

More than 100 years of continuous research: Data from Dikopshof published for free reuse.

The BonaRes Data Centre is pleased to announce the Dikopshof LTE has been made available for free reuse:

LTE are essential research infrastructures for agricultural and soil sciences and fundamental for answering current and future research questions. With its establishment in 1904 between the cities of Cologne and Bonn, the LTE Dikopshof is one of the oldest in Germany. A crop rotation consisting of the crops sugarbeet, winter wheat, winter rye clover, oat (until 1952) and potatoe (from 1953 onwards) in combination with a range of fertiliser treatments (mineral and organic) unite to a rich dataset that offers plenty of opportunities for interesting research. Information offered comprise yield, amounts of fertiliser, types of fertiliser, climate data, cultivar information, planting and harvesting dates, soil nutrient context and soil texture.
The LTE is currently maintained by the Crop Science Research Group, INRES, University of Bonn.
