The Commission VIII of the German Soil Sience Society (DBG) organised on 6th and 7th October at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) the Symposium "Awareness and assessment of soils in society" ("Wahrnehmung und Bewertung von Böden in der Gesellschaft").
